The DT10RF optimiser offers a room thermostat for temperature control combined with a digital 'on/off' time controller. The Worcester digistat optimiser offers 6 time periods per 24 hrs, with different programs for Monday-Friday and weekends.
Additionally the DT10 optimiser uses wireless technology to communicate with the fascia unit in the boiler, removing the need for troublesome and expensive wiring.

Boiler Scrappage Scheme
In December 2009 the Chancellor, Alistair Darling, announced plans for a Boiler Scrappage Scheme, allocating cash to allow those with the most inefficient of boilers to get financial support when upgrading to a more modern unit.
Initial news suggests that from April 2010 the Boiler Scrappage Scheme would give some 125,000 households the right to claim up to £400 towards the purchase and installation of a new, high-efficiency boiler. In a typical 3 bedroom house the estimated fuel saving could be as high as £250 per year.
Currently the Boiler Scrappage Scheme is only for "G-rated" (on the SEDBUK scale) boilers, and is only available for homes in England and Wales, although there is call for this scheme to be made available in Scotland too.
